My name is Bonnie & I originate & still live in Florida. I am a late-forties GG (Genetic Girl ).My unconditional love for the transgendered community started in 1973 when I got into a relationship with a Post Op in California....We did many things including a great deal of public speaking at Cal State North Ridge University for the sexual behavior class. I had put this part of my life I thought into never never land but last year I was given a new computer & the first place I headed was to PNO Trans Chat.......There I found the lovely people that I had lost when I lost my Carol....So I did not go to any other room I found a home there & I have basically stayed there since then....However I have found an incredible group of people there that have just made me feel worth while......I now head up the support Group for New American Christian Church called emerging souls...this is for the state of Florida. I also work with NACC with a New Mission in Florida & I travel the state visiting with people that I have met on-line & counseling with them & making new friends...
The room has been very good to me in the respect it gives me ways to enjoy one of my favorite pass times which is travel....I am leaving to visit my dear friend Alison in Australia ......PinkZinc in May of this year....While I am with her I will be meeting some of her friends & possibly going to a support group meeting there & I have already been invited to MCC Melbourne, by their pastor.
I work closely with RikkiofLA when it comes to the church & to the support group...she is very close to me & I cherish her friendship.
Also one of the great things that has happened in the room that I have been in so long is that many of the girls have come from as far away as England to visit me & with others from the room also. In Sept of 99 we had a renewal of vows of a couple from New Jersey here in St Pete....Also from Trans Chat...
The latest news is that I am proud to be engaged to a TS pre op...Donna is her name she goes by DG5612......We will be getting married on Feb 10th of 2001. She is just a wonderful person & I hope that someday she too will be able to be a PK.
I am so thankful for my membership to PK. If there is ever anything that I can do for anyone in anyway I will be glad to help. I am interested in giving back what the TG Community has given to me........
As Donna would say just call me ..........Just Me that is all that I know.....I am here for the long haul ladies......
